You may have heard that the recent cold weather that swept through Texas has impacted many supply chains. One industry being affected is our paint industry.
Due to the shortage of raw materials related to the Texas freeze, the paint industry is being tremendously impacted. The reduced capacity to refine petroleum means a reduced capacity to manufacture almost all paints and coatings. The nation lost 40% of its refining capabilities after the Texas weather crisis.
We want to inform you that as a result, the industry could potentially be facing product shortages and price increases. Town Line is preparing for these changes as best we can. We’re working hard to limit any potential impact you may feel.
